Winemaking in 2018 was as easy as it gets! Decent winter rains, and a spring without catastrophe, allowed for a healthy budburst and good flowering. Our Cabernet Sauvignon from 2018 brings together some leafy notes from our Greenock vineyard and backbone and structure from our Nuriootpa vineyard. The fruit from our Craneford vineyard, which enjoyed the long slow ripening in Autumn, brings structure and a lovely floral note to the wine. Aged in new and older French oak, we think this wine is a classic. Style: Full bodied, rich, classy Colour: Deep crimson purple Aroma: Fresh varietal blackberry and wild thyme with hints of dark olive Palate: Concentrated dark fruits and hints of clove and dark chocolate, supported by very fine elegant tannins and a seamless finish
